PERSONALIZED TRAINING PROGRAMS

The RFR Questionnaire (provided upon contacting Right Foot Running) is used to create a Runner Profile, which contains information such as running experience, current frequency of training, duration of training per week, distance that can be run without stopping, race results, running shoes used (brand, model, wear pattern, age), training routes (distance, elevation, terrain), strengths & weaknesses (workouts & races), runner type, how long it takes to recover from training & racing, how long it takes to adapt to training, etc.

The Runner Profile, combined with the individual's proposed goals, time availability, and current conditioning level, is then used to create your personalized training program (including appropriate pace ranges for specific workouts throughout the training cycles; can adapt workouts to be completed on treadmill, as well).

EQUIPMENT & RACE RECOMMENDATIONS

It can be a tad overwhelming when looking at all the different running shoes & other training gear (e.g. GPS watches, hydration systems, compression wear), on the market today. Let me take some of the guess work out of your purchasing decisions, by serving as your personal running advisor. With my years of experience, as a competitive runner, I am able to provide recommendations to suit your budget, running style, goals, and the terrain you will be running on.

Looking to run a 5k, 10k, 10 Miler, Half Marathon, Full Marathon, or even a trail race? Over the past 10 years, I have participated in some of the greatest races (both internationally and locally), and thus I am a good resource when it comes to selecting and training for a goal race.

NUTRITIONAL ADVICE

Behind every optimal performance, is a solid nutritional plan. Feel free to pick my brain on the types of fuel you should be consuming, and when you should be consuming them. Be it your everday training diet, preparation for a important race, in race nutrition, or post race/workout fueling, I can definitely be of assistance to you.

Having done my research, and tried numerous energy gels, protein bars, and electrolyte beverages, I not only know what quality products exist and how they work, but I can also tell you where you may be able to get them, at a fraction of the cost.

Speaking of cost, running can get expensive, and so, I have begun to search out how to make my own electrolyte beverages and energy bars, as well as what common foods you can use as supplements to these expensive endurance nutrition products.
